Kantar Appoints New Managing Director in Finland

Kantar has announced the appointment of Christoffer Hultin as the new Managing Director to lead its operations in Finland, marking a significant development in its strategy for Northern Europe. The leadership change is expected to strengthen the company’s ability to deliver insights and strategic guidance to its growing roster of clients in the region.

Christoffer has a rich history in the Finnish advertising and tech sectors. He spent over five years at GroupM Finland (now WPP Media Finland), including as CEO, where he transformed it into the country’s third largest media agency with a turnover of €100 million. He was previously managing director of OMD Finland and spent four years at Nokia in both regional and global roles, including director of global marketing strategy and planning. Most recently he served as country lead at Acceleration Nordic.

According to the press release by the company, the appointment reflects their commitment to deepening its presence in the Finnish market, where demand for high-quality data and strategic consulting continues to grow. With global businesses navigating economic pressures, digital transformation, and the rapid rise of artificial intelligence, clients are increasingly looking for research partners who can provide nuanced, future-ready perspectives. Finland, with its highly digitized economy and innovation-led industries, represents fertile ground for such growth.

The new managing director steps into the role with a mandate to drive operational excellence while aligning Finland more closely with Kantar’s global mission of helping clients understand people and inspire growth. Kantar’s strategy hinges on delivering insights that balance local expertise with global perspective, an approach that is becoming even more crucial in today’s interconnected economy.

By reinforcing its leadership in Finland, Kantar positions itself to serve as a stronger partner to businesses across sectors ranging from consumer goods and retail to technology and services. The appointment signals not only a renewed emphasis on client growth but also the importance of regional leadership in executing the company’s broader European vision.
